I have been really quite disappointed with linked calendars. I only use this site as I rent out rooms in my home and I have to continually manually check and block after reservations are made. The system shows it's on but doesn't seem to implement the request automatically when required.
I have pointed this out several times to airbnb staff and yet the bug still appears to be there. I should not be responsible for any double bookings due to a technical glitch/ bug. I feel I should have some money back on my fees because I have to do extra work to check what the site is not doing. Airbnb need to pay me for this work.
Does anyone know how to sort this? Why has it been going on for so long? Why even after reporting is it still a problem after months? I am a patient person but this just doesn't seem fair that airbnb take host fees for a job/ task not done.
