I received 2 text messages over the last 12 hours regarding a reservation enquiry. I have never received notification of enquiries etc this way before and the message/enquiry does not appear in my Host Inbox on the web page.

I can't respond.

Is it genuine?

Airbnb has said they don't think it is genuine? Very strange.

@Tina672  I do receive text notifications of Inquiries and Requests, but I have my account set up to do that and they definitely also appear on my hosting pages.

So yes, indeed strange. You might want to change your Airbnb password in case somone's trying to hack your account, or maybe it's just some tech glitch.
