my account is flagged

I've never had a bad review or experience, but for some reason the Airbnb people won't tell me, I can no longer make reservations. I've called support and been told there's nothing they can do or tell me and that I should get an email from security. I haven't received anything from security. I've tried messaging them, but since I'm on vacation, I don't get continuous service and they've already closed my message without giving me any resolution. I'd really like to continue using Airbnb for world travels.

This happens to other people too (search in community) and i can understand it is very annoying when Airbnb is not providing the reason. But the "terms of service" state they can deactivate an account whenever they want and withou explanation. So you need to be persistent and ask again, especially when they promised you an email from Security. In the mean time you can try to think of some reason, it could be for example:

- reported to Airbnb by a guest or host

- complaints from neighbours

- safety issues

- violation of local law

- fraude

etc..
