organizing smaller communities

Hi! In addition to other social media groups, what's the best way to meet and reach out to hosts in our neighborhood? It'd be great to have a community group presence here in the airbnb community center, but it seems the areas are currently only offered for large communities.

Have you considered sending a PM via the "enquiry" option to reach out to those who show up in listings in your area to Meet up?

Or put a notice up on your local noticeboards?

If you have a good relationship with community groups/schools in the area maybe ask if they can include a snippet in there email outs or newsletters, or pop a notice up at your local supermarket.

It's one way to help network.

You may also recognize homes that are listed & I'm sure some ABB users wouldn't have an issue if you reached out to them, I've meet a few other users simply from going on walks and saying Hello on my travels..ABB guests are usually stand outs so easy to locate Hosts!

Using related keywords here in CC searchbox may also bring up locals in your area who contribute on her, send them a PM

Thank you! I’ve spent a lot of time crafting a lot of phrases. Airbnb didn’t like that I used the inquiry to reach out to other hosts; that is a violation of their terms of service so that is why they suspended my account. When I explained the forum was unavailable, Airbnb confirmed that, and reinstated my account when I profusely apologized for reaching other hosts on the inquiry. That inquiry is only for asking about renting as a guest and I had not considered my reaching out to hosts to find out if they wanted to save our community from banning Airbnbs would be a violation. It was a tough wake up call to not use inquiries, and I understand the reason for it.

There are no hidden devices in my guest access areas. I do have a video doorbell, and disclose that in the listing and in the devices section.
