over refund to guests

My guests who shortened their stay from Aug 9 - 16, 2016 to Aug 9 - 13, 2016. The reservation code is : X4P9DR

 

my guests revised the dates and I accepted. 

 

As my guests asked for refund due to their early check out, I agreed to refund the guests $500/- for the nights they cancelled

 

Through resolution center, I refund the amount $500/- as agreed

 

I was shocked when airbnb  made adjustment of $487 for my future payout plus the refund i made to my guests which come to a total of $987/-. 

 

I did not know that by accepting the revised dates from my guests lead to auto adjustment of $487 by airbnb

 

Therefore, I request money back from my guests. I seek airbnb team to help me to get back the money from the guest

You need to contact Airbnb directly - this is just a host forum. As you now know, the refund would have been handled by AirBnB and you should not have refunded them a second time.

That happened to me as well. I did not know that Airbnb would process the refund themselves since they don't specify at all, and now I need to request money back
