price changes

I have approved a guest at very short notice as she needed help. I am away and my neighbour is letting her in. The room isn't ready which I explained but she still agreed to the room. I want to drop the price which I feel is fair but I can't seem to do a "special offer" after she has already accepted the price. Does anyone know if I can change the price at this late stage? Thank you.

I would just leave the price like this since it's already done. You can't send a special offer since the reservation is already accepted. Try maybe giving her something as a gift, so that she won't be too harsh when she'll review you.

I might just offer to send her a cheque as compensation - probably simpler in the long run!

You can go into the confirmed reservation where there is an option to change it. Your guest will then automatically be prompted to accept.
