Why is there no option to see the prices I have set on my calendar when guests book days? I sometimes use price tips and when guests book the days, I have no way of knowing what price they end up paying per night in order to verify airbnb calculations... it is only me who finds this quiet fishy and odd that we are not able to see the prices that are set? sometmes I change my set price because there are slow days, and I forget to save a screenshot of my calendar with the new adjusted prices, and then guests book and there is no way to tell how much they are paying per night. how could this be?!?! its ridiculous, airbnb please fix this, we have a right to see what the guests are paying
@Trinity-And-Cristina0 I also find this annoying and don't see any reason for it to be so. This might be good to post in Host Voice so it can be "voted" on.
When you get the booking confirmation it tells you how much the guest paid for the trip. Just divide the number of nights and you get the per night charge. Your whole pay history is in your account file.
I already know this @Jennifer178 but different nights have different prices... that just gives you an overall average of the nightly charges.. I want to know what my nightly rate was set at and do my own divisions. as we all know, airbnb can sometimes short-change us hosts and I like to do the verifying myself
Sorry. It is early in the morning here. I have never had a payout problem and my prices never change. But why don't you keep a physical calendar and write the prices on there? I use one to log the stars from each review.
Also, greetings to Prague! I lived there for 13 years starting in 1992. Love that city and miss it greatly.
Hi @Jennifer178 yes it truly is a great city! I usually do this, I write it down or take a screenshot, but sometimes depending on low seasons or quiet weeks, I change my calendar dates often out of desperation, and I forget to record it somewhere. and then someone books and I am no longer able to see the prices per night.. Its not a big deal, I just find it quite shady that Airbnb doesnt allow you to see it. like, why? what is their reasoning for this?
