put the wrong date when booking-the host already approved-how do I change the date?

I've sent a change request but heard nothing back. My host is saying Airbnb has to deal with the change, not him, he cant see the request. But he has no problem the date change(its only one day different)

The host will need to go to CHANGE OR CANCEL, select CHANGE, enter new dates, send to you. You will hit ACCEPT CHANGES (or similar) and it will be fine!
