question on pre-approvals

I had a guest request a week in september. I pre-approved him pending verification. He is now ready to book the house. Do i need to remove the pre-approval status inorder for him to book or does the website autmatically update his status to approved once he is verified? Thanks!

@Brandi8 - Once his profile is verified he will automatically be able to book.  You don't need to do anything.  However, his pre-approval only lasts for 24 hours.  If it expires, he will need to request the dates again unless you have instant book turned on.

Thank you for the clarification!

I have a request. I want to pre-approve. But the site does not allow me. It says pricing must be 10 USD. What does it mean and how do I go ahead with this booking request?

I have made a mistake in regards to my double booking on the same period, one being "Accepted" and another one "Pre-Approved" and i send a message to the host for the cancellation. It that considered cancel the booking as i dont know how to removed my "Pre-Approved" booking.

Please advice me.

When you Pre-Approve a stay, there is a box you check if you want to block those dates so an instant book cannot grab those dates. About 5 minutes later some requested those same dates. How is that possible?

I am new to this and so is my potential guest. I sent her a pre-approval which has expired tonight but she is still interested in booking(waiting for spouses final approval). If we proceed with his ok do I need to resend a pre-approve or do they just book?
