I keep receiving these emails urging me to lower my prices because I am supposedly missing out on bookings. I always thought that the details they contained about the bookings I lost because of my pricing were real. I just found out that these emails are completely fake. My apartment is already listed at the lowest possible price, and still, I receive an email saying that people are booking something cheaper. I contacted Airbnb support and was told to just ignore the emails. I contacted them again to let them know that it really bothers me that they are sending false information on purpose, and now my messages are just being ignored. I must say that I am really disappointed by this, I understand that more bookings mean more money for them, but to actually lie to your hosts in order to get them to lower their prices is unethical in my opinion.
