Hi, I just referred a friend as a host and help him set up his listing for hosting. Where can I find my referral credit? It doesn't seem to appear in my account. TIA for any help.

The referrer doesn't get the referral credit until the new host completes the first qualifying reservation. That is until the new host's first qualifying guest stays. To qualify, the reservation must be for a minimum amount, usually equivalent to US$75 before fees and taxes.

Ye may have done this but just in case ye didn't realise it, the new host must have not have had an existing Airbnb account and must have signed up using the link in the referral email they received from the referrer.

What if they approved you already ? How long does it take to see it ? Will it go to the payout method or convert into travel credits ?

 Host referrals:

A referral credit is not issued until the host you referred has their first stay that's worth over $100 USD excluding tax, cleaning fee's and service fee's, so if she's not made that on her first finished booking you do not qualify for the credit. If she did have a stay that qualified you will be paid within 30 days of the end of that stay.

 Friend referrals:

A travel credit is not issued until the friend you referred has a a stay that's worth over $75 USD excluding tax and service fee's, so if she's not spent that on any of her finished bookings yet you haven't qualified yet. If she did have a stay that qualified the next reservation you make it will automatically show up on the check out page provided your trip is also over the $75 without tax and service fee's.

 And, even then, it can take months to receive the payout. I'm still waiting on one several months old, and when I question Airbnb about it, they pretend they've paid it to me (pointing out reservations that were worth a similar amount). They're having problems with quality service over there on the help desk!

I am beyond frustrated with Airbnb's sneakiness on this bonus. I have been told multiple times that my bonus is on it's way but everytime i follow up on it they immmediately deny that my friend used the referral link and I have to go through hours of chat until they admit they're wrong and then they assure me it's on it way. Then I start all over again. Disgraceful. Absoluely disgraceful.
