I have had to unfortunatley cancel a booking. After I did so I realised that the visa card I originally used has now been cancelled as it was lost and replaced by the bank. Is there a way to contact airbnb by email to explain this as the refund will bounce back and not go to the new visa card?
@Heather211 Airbnb will always attempt to send the refund to the original credit card, but, since it was deactivated, most likely your bank will give the credit to your new card. You should also enter the new credit card information in your profile. In the unlikely event that the bank sends the refund back to Airbnb, Airbnb will credit the new credit card.
@Heather211 Yes, Airbnb won't let you delete the old card for the reasons you stated. Just add the new card and set it as the default card. Once all reservations associated with the old card are completed, you will be able to delete it.
