Hi, i’m a host and i need, shall i collect a security deposity from the client or i’m covered by airbnb with what we set up on the app for the security deposit.

Hi @Nermine0.

As part of your agreed Terms of Service with Airbnb, you CANNOT take any monies, or ask for monies outside the Airbnb rental platform. You can add it into your listing as part of your booking details. Other monies not listed can be sourced via the Resolution Centre. 

You can go to the Help section in your profile and check the questions and answers. Here is a snapshot for adding a security deposit. I would definitely go and check out what security deposit will cover. They do not cover for extra cleaning costs etc. Damages require photographic evidence and this is also dealt with through the Airbnb Resolution Centre.
