Is there a way I can permanently set my profile and notifications (email) in English? As I'm often travlling in foreign countries I need always to swich into English and sometimes I keep receiving notification in the language of the last country I accessed Airbnb site.
I couldn't find an option to set the language permanetly. Any advise/trick?
I have had the same problem, language setting is English, but all review mails come in Portuguese.
By choosing the .com website as in above suggestion, still it changed back to the portuguese version.
The trick was to scroll then down to the bottom where an option was located to change language.
After that I could make reviews in English.
Weird that Airbnb cannot simply follow the language you choose in the setting menu, that would solve all this extra hassle as every time need to do the same.
I fixed this problem.
When you log in, click your own picture at the right top of the page. Then click the "My Guidebook" from the list (It is on the 5th place on the list). Then go to the bottom of the page. You can see the language of the site at the right bottom of the page. There's also the currency that you use next to the language. You can change both of them by clicking on them and selecting from the list.

My emails and texts are coming in a different language. I’m not even sure what it is. I have tried to reset my language to English multiple times, but my emails are still coming in another language. I can’t even understand what the emails say. What can I do?
@Allison284 copy and paste them in google translate, and you will see what language it is and what the translation to english is.
Apparently this issue has not been resolved. Airbnb keeps on displaying in French in Chrome even though my default language is English. I deleted all my cookies, my browser language is English, my Android phone is in English but nothing can be done. This needs to be resolved.
