trouble paying for a reservation - Airbnb Community

trouble paying for a reservation

Hi, I am trying to pay for a reservation in pounds sterling but Air BB is saying that they do not support the currency. I live in England, made the reservation in England (am also a host who accepts reservations in pounds sterling) but cannot pay with my credit card for a trip. Any suggestions? Thanks
