If the location isn’t set correctly, the listing will stay in Draft and refuse to publish.
Here is the exact step-by-step to fix the location and publish your listing on Airbnb 👇
Step 1 — Open your listing editor
Open Airbnb app or go to Airbnb website (desktop is easier).
Switch to Host mode.
Go to Listings
Click the listing that won’t publish.
Click Edit listing
Step 2 — Go to the Location section
Scroll until you find:
👉 Location / Address
Open it.
Airbnb requires 3 things to be completed:
1️⃣ Exact address
Fill ALL fields:
Street name
Building / apartment number
Postal code
City
⚠️ Even one missing field = cannot publish.
2️⃣ Map pin verification (VERY IMPORTANT)
This is the part that blocks most hosts.
You will see a map with a red pin 📍
You must:
Zoom in fully on the map
Drag the pin to the exact entrance of the property
Confirm the location
👉 The pin must be placed precisely, not just the street.
When correct, Airbnb shows: “Location verified”
If you don’t see that message → it won’t publish.
