72 hours payment window?

You're kidding... @Joe1. Some time ago Airbnb asked hosts about that, most hosts expressed concerns about a time span longer than 24h, and the final solution is 72h? Airbnb, why do you hosts if you don't listen to us?

@Joe1, this is for the situation where the group is splitting the payment, yes?

I am hoping it doesn't apply to every group -- just the groups that are splitting the payment so that multiple people have to send money.

For everyone else, the normal pay fully at reservation time is still true?

Yes. First time I have seen a group pay. Kind of redicilous they have 72 hours.

@Joe1, I agree. 72 hours is a long time to hold a spot on your calendar without any guarantee of a completed reservation.

The 72 hour hold is just not necessary and SO unfair to hosts. Please change this Airbnb..
