A New Listing

I've just made a new listing that has been confirmed by email from Airbnb. However we have attempted to make a booking using a 'third party' just to test if the system is working. When dates are confirmed the system tells you that no dates are avialable for this property. We cant understand why this is happening. Can anyone help?

In my experience it takes about 12 hours for a new listing to become bookable  - in the interim you may even see messages that the isting is no longer available. This based on a friend's experience last week with a new listing. The booking platform is clunky and so I imagine it's something to do with replication across servers etc

Many thanks for your advice. The listing was put up last night so I'll try again this evening. You're also right about the site. It is very clunky and slow!
