ACCURACY and PRECISION rating and understanding.

I systematically and recurrently have the displeasure of noticing that guest repeatedly misunderstand and thus rate inappropriately PRECISION ( ACCURACY in English ), this word in French is what is commonly called a "FAKE FRIEND" it is the exact same word but the meaning is not the same and thus is NOT understood as what it stands for, your precision is about how close to reality the property was described, while for many people ( especially in french and latin language in general ) it is about how well you did explain how to get to the place or explained one thing or another so they rate inappropriately. ???

I am convinced that if someone would survey what people thing accuracy or precision stands for, we would have a variety of widely different answer.

I wish this situation which leads to wrong ratings would be adressed.

Hello Vladimir

In Portuguese Language (also a language derived from Latin), accuracy means "pricisão", very similar to French language. 

I have not found problems with this translation to Portuguese.

Anyway I believe that, in French it can be a "false friend". Once I had a couple of guests from the French Canada and now I believe they were confused about "precision".
