Thought I''d just give you the head up re this ( I was posting in help last night)
It's taken me a while to realise, BUT over the last few weeks my guests have been getting no information or incorrect information re checkin time on the booking confirrmation when they make an IB.
I THINK this is happening on the app only.
I think it might be tied in with the missing welcome message/questions associated with bookign confirmation that were written about a few weeks ago.
Here's what's been happening...
Guests are seeing on my listing that check in is from 2, onwards. When they book however, they either get a message saying they can checkin anytime (!!!!!!) OR no information about checkin time at all.
When I opened an IB comfirmation late last night via my phone app, I could see there was no checkin info . When I went to my laptop, the confirmation email had all that was usually there
I have had 4 guests in quick succession either think they can check in at 10 am or message me saying they are confused because there is conflicting info re checkin between my listing and the welcome message they receive. This has clearly been happening for a couple of weeks - for me anyway. It is NOT guests being vague or not reading things properaly - although very unfortuantely that's how it looks to you as a host if you're not aware of the problem
I rang CS who confirmed that there did seem to be some info missing from the welcome message my last guest received
The usual... referred to IT
The ususal - will absolutley get back to you before my shift is over in 8 hours .... that was 10 hours ago.
Extremely frustrating.
