the notifications constantly tell me to add a mailing address, because 'we sometimes send gifts'.
I have clicked it many many times and I can't find where to enter a mailing address.
How do I get rid of this notification?
Hi @Cindy1,
There should be a small "X" on the far right of your notification and when you click it, it should disappear.
To add or edit your mailing address, go to your dashboard and then there is a menu bar runniing horizaontally. Choose "Profile" then scroll down and you will see an area for "Shipping Address". Click on "Edit" and then you can add/edit your mailing address.

Why is it impossible to stop the notification for adding a mailing address?
The notification says that Airbnb might want to send me a hosting gift.
I click on the x to make the notification go away. The next time I log in, it is back.
I try adding my address where it asks for it on my profile. I save it. The next time I log in, the address has disappeared and the notification is back.
THE BEST GIFT AIRBNB COULD GIVE ME IS TO STOP ASKING ME FOR THE MAILING ADDRESS AND STOP THE NOTIFICATION.
Make it go away. It is stupid and I don't want a gift. I am very tired of getting the notification.
Having the same problem. It is so annoying, and it doesn't metter how many times I did add my address or click the X, the next time I will get into the website it will come back...
Ha ha I was just trying to get an answer to that same questions, I guess I will just live with it!
Same here. Asks me to enter a mailing address, and when I do, it says that the address not found, despite it being the same address as in the listing.
