My renter wants to have a guest stay for about two weeks out of his three week stay.
I have an additional charge for a guest but I'm not sure how to add this to my reservation with out adding it to the entire duration of his stay.
If anyone knows how i can add in the guest charge for the two weeks out of the three my guest has reserved my apartment, please advise!
Thank You!
@Jessy0 You can alter the reservation and increase the price by whatever amount you want to charge for the additional guest. Then your guest has to accept the alteration. I would recommend discussing the change in price with the guest and agreeing on a price before sending so they're not surprised.
@Jessy0 That's if you've already accepted the reservation. If you haven't accepted it yet, send a special offer.
Hi,
I have a confirmed resevration that I accepted for 3 people. The renter just let me know (after I accepted the booking), that 3 more people would be coming.
I don't have an extra charge for guests, and didn't expect this circumstance, but already I am suspect of someone booking for 3 and then adding 3 more.
Any advice? My home does accommodate 6 but that's not the point....cleaning will be completely different, electricity and gas an water (which I include in my daily price) will be much more.
Let m know your thoughts. I can cancel the booking.
Never cancel a reservation...if your listing has a fee for more people, tell them they must request an alteration to their reservation and then you can accept a charge the difference.
let them know that their booking for three, not six actually invalidates their reservation but you will work with them.
