Adjust Payment Date for Long-Term Rental

I want to rent my house for 4 months to a single guest. The guest likely will not want to pay the whole amount at one go. Is there a way for him to pay on a monthly basis? Suggestions?

I would think that you could block off the months and then coordinate with the guest to open the dates for the guest to pay for the month

Airbnb handles monthly rentals differently. They only charge one month at a time. You will receive the next months payment around the first of the month.

^^ This.  The guest will reserve for the whole 4 months, but will only be charged for the first month.  They will subsequently be charged each month until the end of their reservation.  Make sure both you and your guest are acquainted with Airbnb's cancellation and refund policy for long term rentals.
