Does anyone have any good tips on adjusting the availablity for a certain period of time?
I am going on vacation for 10 days at the end of July. I would like to have someone staying in the house while I am away, but where I am going I have very limited reception and not alot of time to juggle having multipal guests checking in and out while I'm gone. I tried that last year while I was on this same trip, and it became a nightmare. I would like to leave these days open, but for someone that is going to checkin before I leave and stay for most of the time I am gone.
This is also something I encounter when I travel for work.
Any tips of suggestions?
Hello @Amanda257,
There is a way to set a minumum stay length during a specific period.
Go to your calendar and click on "Manage settings" in the top right corner.
Then click on "Availability".
Now scroll down to the "Trip length" section and click on the "Edit" button for that section.
Then click on "Add a requirement for seasons or weekends". Then click on the "During" box and choose "Specific dates".
Enter the start and end dates and the minumum stay you would like.
Click "Save" and then click "Save" again!
Hope that's what you're looking for.
Steve.
Steve,
This was perfect. Thank you for responding.
Hi Amanda,
Airbnb has rolled out a new feature in certain areas that allows you to choose a co-host from the Airbnb community to take care of your listing for a small fee. If that service is not yet available in your area, I think your best bet would be to ask a friend or family member that you know and trust to take care of your listing for you, again for a small fee. Hope this helps!
Regards,
David
