I think the word 'offered' and 'option' is interesting. You merely wrote to the guest that perhaps they should consider canceling because of a maintence problem? If so, how did the Airbnb program 'read' such a simple word exchange as a 'request to cancel by the host'? Which is what ended up happening, as far as Airbnb is concerned. Or did the guest cancelled and maybe the reason they gave was that the host asked them to? Just wondering for future reference.
