Airbnb showing avg price on web calendar inc cleaning fee, but not on map...

For the 25 days of Xmas Airbnb is unleashing a torrent of strange updates.

First we had the new 10% off booking features, now we get prices in the search calendar that are completely out of sync with those in the map since the latter don't include cleaning fee etc.

It doesn't appear to be a very helpful use of screen space since all of the prices are the same even though weekends are typically more $$. Or not ?

Aside from it being broken, it seems like another move by Airbnb to drive down price. If the guest feels that's the avg price why pay more ? Also would be good if Airbnb could stick to a single definition of price - as soon as you go to the map view cleaning fee etc is not included.

I wonder if this is why our booking are down for next year?  This time last year we must have been almost 30% booked.  We did raise our price to more than $100, ugh.  And now, airbnb's smart pricing recommendations are so low we can't possibly accept them.  I'm not renting an entire apartment that is a half hour from Manhattan for $77, which is much less than the worst motel you could find in the area. It's a shame that such a great concept continues to degrade with so many poor decisions and the constant 'improvements' that make everything much worse.

its an utter mess. You might want to do a web search in your area - as of 3 weeks back,Airbnb changed how it searched on price.

If your base price without cleaning fee is high (over $60 here) the guest gets so many results they are likely to dial down price. Without including cleaning fee in the price sliders or map it's almost impossible to search by price any more. 

As guest I am finding Airbnb unusable and it feels like a bait and switch.
