Amending a current reservation by adding a guest and changing the check out date

Hi Airbnb Hosts,

I need help...my guest checked in on the 26th of May. He is supposed to check out on the 2nd of June. 

Today, on the 31st May, he wants to amend his booking and add another guest and also check out a day earlier.

I tried to help him alter his reservation but Airbnb seem to be quoting him from the 26th for the additional guest. 

What can he do?

@Thandokazi0 Calculate how much you will charge him for that extra person and return him the change as he wants to checkout earlier. Deal offline, Good luck!!!

In addition to @Oomesh-Kumarsingh0 advice, you should also change to 2 guests so that you will be covered by Airbnb for that 2nd person for the dates that person will be staying.

Since it's not possible to specify different stays for different guest counts, you'll need to accompany your change request with a message explaining the change to have the proper detail on record. That way, although your change states 2 guests for the total reservation period, your guest will still be held to what you explained in your message, for ex. that the second person will only be staying for one night (or whatever) of the total 7 nights.
