i live in pittsuburgh atlanta which is approx. 2 miles from the stadium.  ive got my 3 bed/2 bath house listed for 1800 on superbowl sunday and slightly lower on the days preceeding. (ie. 1200, 1000, 800) roughly.  its upsetting me to see some hosts list their homes for just regular value in the area. its not taking advantage of this rare opportunity that only comes around once every 20 to 30 years.  i havent had anyone book my place yet and im concerned as we get closer to feb. 3rd, if ill be forced to significantly lower my price in order to at least get some sort of profit from this thing.  please let me know about your experiences so far.  ive had 12 views on my profile in the past 30 days, so its not like hundreds of people have been looking, which is what i was expecting...

Hello Brad, my name is Wynne, I am about 1 mike from the stadium and I am listing a 1 room with bath for 700.00 a night. So I think your price is excellent, but I’m new at this so I just charged what I thought was right. I want to rent that Friday through Monday morning. Very disappointed so far. Not a single request or anything on my place which is close to the stadium. And compared what hotels are charging I am very confused at the moment......

My place took awhile to book. I’m in downtown Atlanta. I had to lower my price. However, I received a request for two days after the first people leave but Airbnb gave a price of $38 a night. Couldn’t do that and not sure how my pricing was changed.
