Auto accident on driveway, need input

So, fun morning! I was backing out of my garage when I hit the renters car. They said the car is a rental, so I'm waiting for info from them, but here's my questions for the group: Im perfectly willing to accept partial fault, however 1. The sun rises to hit my driveway, it was a clear morning and I obviously didnt see the car. 2. I Instruct renters to park on the street, but if they park on the driveway they are told to park on the left. Their car was more left of center of driveway.

Does anyone have any experience with an accident like this? What can I expect?

Notify your Auto Insurer, they will deal with it. Seems pretty clear cut.

@Janelle21 let's not get into how I know this but my recollection is that the person who hits a parked car is always 100% at fault. If only your guest had bought the damage waiver from the rental company...
