Hi everyone. This is my first time hosting and I need a little help. I was negotiating dates with someone, meanwhile someone else booked my place and now the dates are not available. Can someone please help me? I would like to accept someone I have been talking to for over a day and we just settled on dates for her stay. Thank you all so very much.

You must have Instant Book turned on. If you don't want guests to be able to instantly book without communicating with you first, you will need to turn this feature off. If you cancel the guest who booked your calendar will be blocked and the other guest will not be able to book anyway. You can contact Airbnb and plead ignorance and ask that they cancel the booking and keep the calendar open for the other guest
