Base Price

Hello, can anyone help out there?

I have listed all 5 of our properties and each listing asks me for a base price. How can you set a base price when every season is a different price? I put a base price on the first listing, got a guest, she booked and before I knew it she had paid half of what was advertised. I don't want base pricing at all but it is compulsory so any ideas please are warmly welcome.

If I put the weekly price in peak period will all future guests think that is the price all year round whatever the season? If I put the lower price will they think that it is a few hundred euros in the middle of August when it is 1680 for the week?

HELP!!!!

You can use the calendar to set prices for any time periods you want. If a guest requests specific dates, they will see the price you set for those dates. If the guest is searching without a date range, then they will see your base price. You'll want to read through the Help area for Hosting to make sure you understand how to best use the system.
