Calendar sync problem

I am wanting to know when will airbnb booking system be set up to instantly sync with a channel manager? At the moment it takes 1 hour for the booking to sync, and I am concerned in the busy time,I could get double booked.Booking.com synces instantly and shows up in my booking system as soon as the booking is made.

We work with Siteminder/ Little Hotelier.  They have been working on this for almost a year now.  The rep did warn me that channel managers that advertise that they work with AirBnB are actually just syncing rather than offering direct connectivity.  For the moment we do not use instant book as the risks are pretty high for a double booking when there is such a significant lag.

Let's hope they figure it out some time soon!  Lisa
