Calendar updates not working

I have a guest who wants to extend his stay.  In order for him to extend his reservation, I unblocked a day which had previously been blocked for preparation (cleaning).  It now shows as unblocked on the calendar, but still shows as unavailable when the guest tries to reserve that day.  Is this a glitch or am I missing something?  Thank you.

maybe you need to go into your calendar settings and change advance notice time or preperation time there, beyond just unblocking a day? 

Thanks.  But in the calendar settings a change in the prep time will apply to all reservations, but I just want to change it for this one.

so maybe just change it now, so the guest can book, then change it back to how you had it. just trying to be helpful.....good luck, hope it works.
