Can I erase a reference from my profile?

I did read it. You poor thing. Then I felt badly for being curious but not helping, and so looked up the problem and found that someone else had the same question in December. The answer there was that you would have had to have approved it at some point. Did you? Maybe if you can find the old email asking you to approve, you can unapprove by following the same path, so to speak? Hope this helps.

I imagine that if you get in touch with Airbnb, they could remove it (not like removing an actual review, after all!)

@Mike77, I know you can't right click from they way you do it but it is still there, for whenever you are on a pc. It won't disappear that quickly. Reference is from an ex.

Dear @Natalie44,

even if the comment is very personal, I wouldn't be too worried about it, most guests just read the first five to seven comments and don't scroll down to the references.

If you can't get it removed from Airbnb, then it would be helpful to get two or three more references, sfter this that particular reference hopefully gets less important.

Natalie...I would not lose any sleep over the reference. Identifying himself as your live-in lover makes him look like a lowlife jerk...he admits to being rather a redneck..he surely proved it.  If someone mentions it just blow it off as not one of your best choices in men.
