A guest who we expected to arrive at our home within 36 hours has canceled her reservation. Is there any way to report this user? She is apologetic, but has only given as reason that her friend wants to spend more time in another part of town.
You don't need to do anything at all. Let the guest cancel herself, absolutely don't cancel on the guests behalf. It's a huge deal for a host to cancel. It's the guests responsibility to cancel the booking that she can't/won't make.
If she asks you to refund her, just direct her to Airbnb who handles the cancellations. There are tons of posts here about cancellations, just use the search field above to look up lots of info.
