As a host I cancelled a reservation because the guest mistakenly made it on the wrong date...actually wanted it for one year in advance. Consequently, her dates were incorrect. We communicated and cleared up her mistake, no problems. That's why it appears that I cancelled. In reality she should have cancelled but I mistakenly did this on her behalf. How can I have this blemish removed from my account?
You can't without getting in touch with Airbnb.
Same thing happened to me. Where can I call?
How do you call Airbnb
Hello @Louis139,
Type "contact airbnb" in the "Search the community" box on these forum pages where you posted your question. Scroll down a little in the list of suggestions that appears and click on the "Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide[UPDATED]" one. That lists phone numbers and ways to contact them via Twitter or Facebook.
Steve.
Next time this happens just 'Change' the reservation dates instead of cancelling. Then there are no penalties for anyone.
Under your 'Reservations', on the guests reservation, click the link "Change or Cancel" and you can change the dates.
