Cannot get into contact with my guests arriving tomorrow

Hi All, I hope someone can help me.

We have guests booke for tomorrow but have not been given a time of arrival. We have to organise airport transfers and would have to be on the property to open the house/welcome the guests but have no flight-or other details at all. During the past couple of weeks I have tried to contact our guest via Airbnb, email and phone but to no avail. Today is 13/8 and last time we heard from the guests was on 29/4. Do you know if Airbnb provides other ways of contact to the guests like additional phone numbers(of spouse or other ways of contact)?

You've done everything you could to contact them and have lived up to your side of the deal. If I were you, at this point, I would have the house ready but leave it up to them to contact you. Don't wast your time. If they fail to show up and want their money back, or show up and you're not there, they will contact you or Airbnb and all will sort itself out.

Quite a few guests continue to believe that they have booked a hotel stay with a reception desk open 24/7. Hence, they refuse to communicate, disclose their arrival times, etc. 

 

I communicate my concerns to them via Airbnb messenger. I send them Airbnb mails. I text them, and I phone them, too. Eventually, if they choose NOT to communicate at all, I move on. They will have to wait for me to show up and let them in? 

 

I also inform Airbnb about the issue before their arrival, as I suspect that the guests may be claiming that I am not there for them. You want to cover all of your aces, don't you? 

 

No one is as deaf as someone who does not want to hear...
