Change availability for a date that was previously unavailable.

When I started usuing instant booking, I had not updated my calendar for several months out.  In the meantime someone booked my place for dates that showed as available (that I had not changed to unavailable), so I had to cancel them, update my availability and turn off instant booking.  Now those dates are once again available, but the canceled reservation is still showing on my calendar, and I cannot update those dates to make them available.  The website actually blocks my ability to change my availability due to a canceled reservation.  Like I am being penalized again.  Can someone please help me to get the canceled reservation out of my calendar so that I can rent my place for those dates.

If you cancel a reservation, the dates are permanently blocked by Airbnb.

Oh @Charles506, what a rookie mistake. It is very poor form to cancel bookings in the first place (and it will show on your profile which can put prospective guests off). Airbnb (rightly so) penalises hosts for doing this by blocking the calendar permanently.
