Changing Payout Method - Timing To Avoid FX Charges

I have three payout methods in three currencies. I switch my Airbnb listing currency depending on which account needs money. How do I make sure that the payouts go to the correct account for the currency? My guests often book many months in advance and it seems like my currency setting at the time of the booking are what I am stuck with right through until payout. This would be fine if I could direct payouts to different payment methods depending on what currency they are in? But it seems I can just have one default payment method at a time. Am I missing something?

For instance...
I accept a booking in July - priced in USD.
I accept a booking in Aug - priced in JPY.
I accept a booking in Sept - priced in CAD.

The guests all stay during December. I want each payout to go to the bank account I have setup in that currency. Is this possible?

Hello @Denton0,

I'm afraid that it's not possible to do that. You gave a great clear description of what you mean.

All Airbnb allows us hosts to do is split payments for a particular listing with some % going to one account and the rest to another account or to have different accounts for different listings.

They don't let us make any choices based on currency. They most likely make a good portion of their income by keeping control of currency transactions.

Even if you have a $US account in Canada and your guest pays in $US to that account there may still be currency conversion charges.

Can I choose my payout currency?

Steve.
