Is it possible with the current setup where I may charge more for a single night and charge lesser to anyone booking more than a single night?
If not, is there a workaround to this? Any advice much appreciated.
@Jojo8 Hello Jojo and a happy new year to you.
I had the same problem and there's no direct way but what I did was to add a linen charge of just 2 or 3 euros per stay. For several nights, it hardly affects the price but for just 1 night it will give you 2 or 3 euros extra to cover your extra work in cleaning, laundry etc. You can choose any extra charge you wish for cleaning or linen.
Best wishes from Anthony in Portugal
@Jojo8 We use the cleaning fee to make short stays relatively more expensive per night but its not ideal.
You can use the cleaning fee to tack money on to the booking. Or you can have a nightly rate and then offer a discount for 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. night stays.
Most of the hosts are using the cleaning fees and the discounts to discourage one night bookings.
