Can you tell me why Airbnb lower my listed prices without consulting me first?

Check if you have 'checked' automatic pricing. Then they make the price for you.

AirBnB doesn't change your pricing - if you are certain that your prices have been changed on your calendar then contact them to let them know as there may be a bug in your account.

Hello @Francisco188,

You do not collect payment drom your guest directly.  Money never exchanges hands.

At some point while you wre setting up your account, you are prompted to fill in information about payment preferences (direct deposit to bank account, paypal, or Airbnb credit).  After you put in that information, and after 2-3 business days of confirmation with the account, the money will be deposited directly into your account.

When the guest books, they pay Airbnb, who holds the money until the time of the trip. The company then makes the payout to you 24 hours after checkin time or close to it). They automatically take their cut off the top - you will see this breakdown to the left of the message chain with the guest.  After a business day or two, the money will show up in your account.
