Checking in a guest

My very first Airbnb guest just arrived.  Do I need to do anything on Airbnb to show that they have arrived?

I had the same Q 2 days ago. No, the answer is AirBnB assumes they arrived once your check-in time and date have passed.

Do I need to do anything to initiate payment by the renter?  They have come and gone and Airbnb is not showing any money transaction.
