Cleaning Fees

Does anyone know if there is a way to scale cleaning fees based on the legnth of the stay?  Someone staying for 1 night and someone else staying for 1 month should not be paying the same cleaning fee.  Anyone have a solution to this issue?  Thanks for any help in advance!

After they contact you and tell you that they want to stay for 20 days, send them a "special offer" with the additional cleaning fee included with the regular cost/fees.  If they agree, then you have your extra cleaning fee that you require.  If they don't agree, then they don't have a reservation.

It's probably more an issue with stays longer than say..4/5 nights, where you want to make sure the place is kept in good order etc. Put a note in you description to the effect that stays over X nights in mcur an additional £X per week for a cleaner to attend, provide fresh linen etc. Make sure your guest is aware of this before booking and once booked send special offer with full accom fees plus full cleaning fees. They must click to accept otherwise you will only receive original amount.

You are very thoughtful.  However, I believe that the cleaning fee should remain the same for a period of time.  For me, the max # of nights I rent out is 6 nights.  I provide a change of towels after the 3rd night.  I suggest that if you rent out more than a week, I think that the cleaning fee should be more.
