Discounts for Superhosts from Nest - What do you think?

So I used my Superhost discount to go buy a Nest learning thermostat for one of my properties to test it out. I got it, and it's been working well. I went back to buy a second unit for my other property, and it says I'm no longer entitled to a discount on another unit. I'm not sure why: I'm still a Superhost, and they don't say anywhere that you can only use the discount once. Has anyone else run into this? Do you know if the discount resets after the next assessment (currently in process), or have I used my discount forever?

Also, if you've purchased other Nest products, what do you think? Have they been worthwhile?

Not Airbnb related but still about Nest.  I know that certain special offers through them are 1 per person.  My boss owns 2 homes, he was able to purchase only one Nest.  I registered my name with them so that he could order the second one he wanted.  Maybe that’s what your situation involves.

@Ginny30Good to know: thanks. I wish they would make that a little clearer. I will ask my cousin to order one to get the discount and free Google home mini that they're throwing in right now.

It is great to hear you are trying out a Nest . I hope you will let us know how you find it, perhaps you could do a little review of it? 🙂

I have actually just posted some information providing more information on this Superhost discount, so I know a little more about it. There is a useful FAQ in the Help Center, which mentions that you can only use the discount on one transaction, but if you wanted to buy more than one Nest product at the same time, then you discount can be applied to all.

It sounds like you have already bought this, but if you haven't, then it would be good to buy both units at the same time.
