This is the 4th time I have had to change my email address to get notifictions to come through on either my email or the app, as it is different each time. Sometimes they don't come through on email, sometimes on the app. ABB says it is because I don't use Google, but that shouldn't have anything to do with app notifications. I do not text.
The answer from an Airbnb product manager : ' Looked into this. I'm told they recently rolled out a granular settings where you can configure if you'd like both the push notification and the SMS message, or just one. If you are receiving push notifications then SMS may have been disabled automatically. You can easily turn it back on by going to your notification settings in the Airbnb app, and enabling SMS. Let me know if you can't find it.

This is the 5th time I have had to change my email address to get notifictions to come through on either my email or the app, as it is different each time. This am I got a message on my app, but it doesn't show up on my computer. I haven't been getting notifications to review my guests for months and suddenly this am I am getting them but not inquiries/requests on the computer.
This makes no sense and unless I go on my computer to the dashboard through out the day I don't know that I have messages BECAUSE THEY AREN'T showing up... suddenly again. WTH!!
Hi Tracey, this is indeed very frustrating, The fact that you don't use google has nothing to do with it, I am using Firefox on Apple and have no problem. Also: I don't see why you should change your email address. I would continue telling Airbnb that you are still having problems with the notifications
My experierce with Twitter is very good. I have the idea that there is a more technical hepdesk there. The Twitter account is: @AirbnbHelp. Hope they can help you out.
