Expecting a Baby :)

Hi All, 

My husband and I are expecting a baby this October! We are so very excited. However, we rent the apartment above us to Airbnb guests and were wondering if any other hosts have had the experience of hosting while taking care of a newborn. I am afraid that guests will be upset if they hear the baby cry at night. Has anyone found this to be true? If so, are there any sound proofing techniques you can suggest? I am hoping since we live downstairs from the Airbnb space that it will not be too loud for guests, but I wanted to ask the community for their input.

@Nicole398 I think you should bring a professional in to ask about soundproofing. Guests hearing a baby crying will not be happy guests.

@Nicole398 congratulations! I do not have a personal experience about this yet, but I highly suggest that you disclose this information in the listing and also mention in the message to confirm that future guests are aware of this.
