France 120 day limit as host?

I am not a host yet. I am looking into it though.

Our house is much too big. We are able to make 3 units with private entrances and toilets, within the house.

I read in Financial Times that hotels  are lobbying to make it harder for Airbnb.

I really do not want to make a big investment if I am not able to let.

question:

120 days = true?

If yes, 120 days total or 120 days for each unit?

What about tax?

I do not mind paying tax, but the rental price has to reflect that.
