We started hosting last year, with no troubles, and had great guests. This year we have noticed many more guests who want to negotiate the price, which is slightly annoying but not troubling. However, we have also this year seen several requests from obviously fake accounts (brand new, no reviews) spamming us with messages that just consist of the word 'Hi!". Anyone know if AirBnB has any process in place to try to filter out these types of phishing activities?
