Getting paid confirmation?

My host already paid for the reservation but in our messages the websites and phone numbers of them keep been hidden. Why? How do I know if he paid or not?

@Evangelina0, guests pay Airbnb the full amount when a reservation has been accepted.  Airbnb holds onto the money until 24 hours after checkin at which time they send the money to you.  If a guest is unable to pay, the reservation won't go through.  Sometimes a guest has trouble with their credit cards in which case they have a period of time (I believe 24 hours) to fix the problem during which time your reservation will show as "pending".

Many thanks for your post. I have set up payment via PayPal. Should I receive confirmation payment from PayPal when the amount has been sent from AirBnb or I will also receive confirmation payment on my e-mail? I`m new host and I have the first guest and we have accepted his reservation in our home 26 hours ago. Should I wait next 24 hours and then contact AirBnb if I do not see funds on my PayPal account?

@Tkope0 I can't tell by your message when the start date (check in) is for the reservation you mentioned.  Airbnb will send you a payout message approximately 24 hours after the time you set for check in on your listing.  Exactly how long it takes to be credited to your Pay Pal account I cannot say as I am not familiar with Pay Pal's procedures.  In my situation my bank does not notify me when the payment is received from Airbnb.  

So, as an example if a guest makes a reservation today for a weekend three weeks from now, Airbnb will send your payment in three weeks, not at the time the reservation is confirmed.

@Clare0 Reservation (Check-In) was approved yesterday (07/03/16 at 7:40 am). Today is 08/03/16 4:38 pm and If I clearly understood I should receive payment probably in next 24 hours? Or?

@Tkope0  Have you received notification that Airbnb has sent your payout?  If yes, then your money should get to your account 2-4 days after the Airbnb message depending on the financial institution that you have selected to receive the payout.  In my case in the US the payment gets to my bank account within 2-3 days after the Airbnb message.  I would think it would be rather quick since you are in Ireland.

mine just says pending payment? and it will not allow another guest too book. there is no option to cancel or change. my other reservation dont say pending payment?

@Gary23 It's possible that the guest is getting their payment method act together.  I believe they have 24 hours to do so.  It's not unusual for guests to have to change credit card, paypal, etc. information.  In the meantime, your calendar for this guest will be blocked in anticipation that the guest will resolve the issue. My bank is always changing my credit card due to possible fraudulant activity and keeping up with it is a real pain.  Be patient, it's only 24 hours!
