Guest Ratings by host

A quick question, do ratings of guests by hosts appear on the guest public profile?

i.e Cleanliness, Observance of house rules, Communication.

Despite house rules on Hoovering, tidying up and detailed instructions on recycling, which is important to us, we have had several occasions now whereby, although guest comment on how lovely the cottage is and spotlessy clean, they just leave without making any attempt to do anything towards leaving it as they found it.

We dont charge a seperate cleaning fee and soemtimes are a little reticent in leaving a detailed review on non compliance.

Any idea's or recommendations.

Hello @Chris--Alison--Harriet-a0. Unfortunately, airbnb doesn't give it a **** to start displaying the guests' ratings. Join debates to support the idea. It would make it easier for hosts maybe not to choose guests, but be prepared to write due reviews and simply be wary. 

And start charging a cleaning fee - it is more reasonable since preparing such a lovely cottage as yours must take some time.

Thank you for your kind words, yes it does take around 6 hours including washing and ironing, plus we decorate once a year and paint in entire walls if they get marked.

Damage is also an issue, only small things but we are constantly replacing towels, oven gloves, saucepans and even non stain tablecloths that get stained.

Yes, I think I will join the discussion groups, we always write a review and try to warn others by what we dont say rather than what we do say.
